Learn how to install, upgrade, and uninstall the moneymotion plugin to start accepting payments through moneymotion on your WooCommerce store.

Installation

You can install the moneymotion plugin either directly from your admin dashboard or manually.

1. Download the plugin ZIP file from here.
2. Log in to your WooCommerce dashboard as admin.
3. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
4. Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
5. Click Choose File and select the downloaded ZIP file.
6. Click Install Now.
7. Click Activate Plugin once the installation is complete.

Configure the Plugin

After installation, you'll need to configure the plugin with your moneymotion credentials:

1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments.
2. Find moneymotion in the payment methods list and click Manage.
3. Enter your API Key from your moneymotion dashboard.
4. Configure your preferred payment settings:
   • Enable/disable test mode
   • Set your preferred payment methods
   • Customize the checkout appearance
5. Click Save changes to apply your settings.

Upgrade the plugin

When a new version of the moneymotion plugin is available, you can update it directly from your admin dashboard.

To upgrade the plugin:

1. Log in to your WooCommerce dashboard as an admin.
2. Navigate to Plugins on the left sidebar.
3. Under Installed Plugins, locate moneymotion.
4. If an update is available, you'll see a notification below the plugin's name. Click Update Now to upgrade the plugin to the latest version.

Enable Automatic Updates

To enable automatic updates:

1. In the Plugins list, locate moneymotion.
2. Click on Enable auto-updates next to the plugin.

Uninstall the plugin

To uninstall the moneymotion plugin:

1. Log in to your WooCommerce dashboard as an admin.
2. Navigate to Plugins on the left sidebar.
3. Under Installed Plugins, locate moneymotion.
4. Click Deactivate to deactivate the plugin.
5. After deactivating, click Delete to remove the plugin from your site.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during installation or usage:

1. Verify your PHP version meets the minimum requirements (PHP 7.4 or higher)
2. Ensure your WooCommerce version is compatible (WooCommerce 5.0 or higher)
3. Check if your API credentials are entered correctly
4. Clear your WordPress cache and refresh your browser
