-
Paste this Webhook Secret into your IPS moneymotion payment method settings and save.
For more on webhook payloads and signatures, see the Webhook Payloads docs.
Payment Flow
Here's how the payment flow works end-to-end:
- The customer selects moneymotion during checkout in Invision Community.
- A checkout session is created via the moneymotion API.
- The customer is redirected to the hosted moneymotion checkout page
(
https://moneymotion.io/checkout/{id}). - The customer enters payment details and confirms the payment.
- moneymotion processes the payment.
- moneymotion sends a webhook to your community at
https://your-community.com/moneymotion/webhook/. - On a successful
checkout_session:completeevent, the transaction is marked as PAID in Invision Community.
Note
If the webhook is not received or fails verification, the transaction will not be marked as paid. Always ensure the webhook URL and secret are correct.
Webhook Events
The Invision Community plugin reacts to these key events:
checkout_session:complete– Marks the transaction as paid.checkout_session:refunded– Marks the transaction as refunded.checkout_session:expired– Marks the session/transaction as failed.checkout_session:disputed– Marks the session/transaction as failed due to dispute.
Refer to Webhook Payloads for full example payloads and signature verification.
